What is foamed PVC?

Foamed PVC is a lightweight and rigid material that is ideal for many industries, from construction to advertising (PVC printing such as banners, signs, and plates). The sheets have a smooth and hard surface and absorb water to a low degree. Thanks to its non-porous and matt surface, printing on PVC is ideal for digital printing and UV technology. The sheets are available in various thicknesses and formats.

Is foamed PVC hard?

It should be emphasised that foamed PVC and hard PVC are two different materials .

However, despite its low weight compared to other plastics, foamed PVC, like rigid PVC, is very rigid, durable and long-lasting. This is all thanks to the free foaming manufacturing technology. The end result is a closed-cell internal structure with a smooth yet hard surface. Yes, foamed PVC is sufficiently hard .

to be considered fire-resistant, with good insulation and soundproofing properties, which influence the material's applications.
