A uniform, non-porous internal structure makes rigid PVC sheets highly durable and resistant to mechanical impact. Furthermore, they are slightly stiffer than those produced using the foaming method and are characterised by low flammability and thermal conductivity.
Despite their compact and hard outer surface, hard PVC panels are easy to process thermally and mechanically. Among other things, they can be hot-cut, vacuum-formed, die-cut, glued and threaded.
Hard PVC sheets are suitable for screen printing and painting with PVC paints, but they should not be cold-bent, laser-cut or diamond-polished. These boards are also characterised by exceptional resistance to chemical and atmospheric factors, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
